Sun Exposure After Fraxel Laser Treatment
I had one fraxel treatment about 3 weeks ago. I am leaving for vaction in two weeks, and I am concerned about sun exposure. How long should i wait after one treatment?

Protect yourself from the sun after a laser treatment
Laser treatments make your skin much more susceptible to sun damage. The highest risk for more sun damage is between 1-3 weeks after your procedure. I have many patients that go on vacation between treatments, but they still work hard at protecting themselves from sun exposure. Wear a good sunscreen and a hat and you should be able to enjoy your vacation. Have fun!
