Fraxel Laser: Q&A
Ask a Question
Fraxel Restore Causes Puncture Mark Scars?
I have heard of Fraxel Restore causing needle puncture-like scars similar to being pricked with needles all over the face? What is the likelihood of this occuring and have there been many cases?

Fraxel Restore
The laser beam consists of a myriad of tiny beams that penetrate the skin and the body extrudes the damaged collagen through the epidermis and this is what you are seeing. The overwhelming majority of patients don't see this on their skin but some people, especially those with skin that pigments after trauma, can see it more. It tends to be self-limiting but every person heals uniquely and healing is an inherited condition often.
