I've heard some varying reports that one of the long term issues with Fraxel laser is a loss in fat in the skin causing sagging? Is this correct? Thanks.

Fraxel does not cause fat loss
Fraxel does not cause fat loss because it does not go deep enough to affect the fat layer. It’s only a skin treatment. But, it does help with firmness by stimulating collagen within the skin.

Fraxel Restore and Repair
I am not aware of scientifically controlled studies proving an atrophic result of Fraxel Restore or Repair on the fatty layer. There is a buildup of new collagen, not a destruction of the fat which is deep to the laser effect.
