Fraxel lasers (Refine, Restore, and Repair) will not destroy hair follicles
This is an excellent question about Fraxel lasers safety profile. Laser hair removal in theory targets melanin in the hair follicle which gives hair its dark color. Most hair removal lasers target melanin (the chromophore) which is why most cannot be done on patients with tan skin or darker skin types.
