Fraxel Re:Pair results?

Are the results progressive with Fraxel Re:Pair. I know that they say that with the Fraxel Re:Store that results continue to get better as the months pass after the procedures. I am wondering if the Re:Pair results get better as well with time. Thanks

Dr. Weiner, How do you feel about the possibility of the under eye orbital rim becoming more pronounced after the Fraxel? It seems like the short term result might make the skin more thin and fragile - thus causing the orbital rim to become more pronounced. I suppose the collagen will build over the months - making that not as pronounced. (My laypersons impression of what would occur.) What is your experience in this regard? Have you seen my photos - I sent them to your website email? Thanks.

I just don't see "problems" around the eyes. I see terrific tightening. If a doctor is using inappropriately high settings around the eyes, this can theoretically happen. I use settings that are about 1/2 the face settings. (I looked but cannot find your pix).

Hi Christine, I am so sorry to hear about the trouble you're having. Your doctor seems to be trying hard to sort out what went wrong. I'd like to know what went wrong- for both of us. I am about 20%-25% better but my mouth is so tight. If I eat an apple I have to move the upper right side of my lip away or I'd bite it. This, so far has not been a beauty treatment for me. I look at people's faces now and think they're lovely no matter how wrinkly they are, it's just great to see a person smile and the range of expressions a human face can make. I'd like to ask if you've contacted reliant /Fraxel directly or if they've responded to your case? When I read about this it seemed so safe. I am at 3 weeks too- may I ask if your settings were moderate? It seems clear to me that Fraxel either has not tested as much as claimed or are not declaring their findings clearly. I very much want to know if they have any knowledge of someone with my reaction or your reaction. It seems very strange that if they tested over 500 people that we would have 2 of the first paying treatments and also have 2 completely unique reactions never before seen by fraxel. My doctor tells me just to wait, that all will be well. I pray he's right. This is a huge loss of time emotionally and for work as well. I know everyone on this site is thinking of you and wishing you a complete and total recovery. A

Hi Dr. Weiner, I sent another 4 pictures to the address listed on your website. I'm wondering your opinion about what I can expect regarding my lower eye slackness? Thanks for all your responses. Neil

Hi All, So, I'm scheduled for tomorrow in NYC w/ Dr. Geronomous and I'm starting to get a little nervous. If I look really red for a long time - it's gonna be embarrassing at my job. I did take one week off but .... argh... what the heck am I doing? I feel like my eyes don't look that bad but - I thought this would be a good way to nip my crepy ness in the bud. I'm probably going to go through with it... but I'm I little wigged out right now. I wish more people posted with positibve results.

Good luck tomorrow, Neil. I am sure everything will go well and it's understandable you are nervous. I have a treatment scheduled for the 10th...just my eyes and I'm sure I'll be twitching that day! Keep us informed!

Hi All, I just had the treatment with Dr. G. and everybody seemed to say that it went well. The points that I would make are: (1) It is a bit painful - but short because the whole treatment for my undereye area only took about 4 minutes. (a) I had a numbing gel on the face for about an hour and half. (b) I took a Percoset about 40 min before hand. (c) It feels like little needles going into your skin in a 1/4 inch band. (2) I had thought that he was going to go a bit lower on my face and I went back in to talk to him - but he said that he went as low as we had talked about - but I couldn't see it because it was on a different setting. (I'm not exactly sure how much sense this makes - but I'm going with it for now.) (3) My face is currently a bit bloody - where the treatment occurred. (4) I'm putting ice on it and soaking up the blood with gauze and then putting Aquaphor on it. (5) I'll try to post some pictures.

Can anybody tell me how to post pictures? I tried to copy and paste here - but that didn't work. Should I wait until I can show some before and after or do people want to see the daily progress? It ain't pretty right now... that's for sure!

I'm thinking I'll hold off until I start healing more before I write a review. If anybody wants me to send them photos I would be willing to do that - just send me a message to. {edited email address- our Community Guidelines do not allow for posting of personal email addresses}
