Fraxel for Removing Nose Bumps from Acne Scarring?

The small bumps on my nose are from past pimples. The acne is a bit more under control after PDT. My nose seems to have grown in width, but I can't tell if that's only because of the bumps. My father has a very large nose with no nostril definition (I think it's called rosacea?), kind of like mine right now, but larger. I'm in my 20's and so I'm not sure to what extent that will happen to me. Will Fraxel remove the bumps and potentially make my nose a bit smaller?

Fraxel for Acne Scarring and Bumps on the Nasal Skin

Hi Omyomyii, I have treated the same patient with rhinophyma (hypertrophied or enlarged sebaceous glands on the nose, W.C Fields/Karl Malden nose) with first Fraxel re:store, and then with Fraxel re:pair. The results were better with re:pair. The condition may be treated dermabrasion, surgical shaving, or full carbon dioxide laser. It looks as if you currently have active sebaceous glands, but not rhinophyma. Given your skin type, I would start with a series of Fraxel re:store treatments... more
