We have not noticed a big difference other than folliculitis is reduced if the hair is gone or have had several treatments .

Facial hair will have no effect on the Fraxel laser treatment
Fraxel works exceedingly well on the skin of the face. It makes no difference if the treated area has hair or not. The success of Fraxel is in proper settings and patient selection and areas being treated.

Fraxel Laser
Fraxel laser does not necessarily work better where hair has previously been removed. However very light skin individuals with thick dark face hair are probably best advised to shave a few days before any fraxel proceedures.
