Fraxel Laser Vs ProFractional Laser in Terms of Cost and Results?

Is there a difference between Fraxel Laser and ProFractional laser or is it just the name?

At one place, the Fraxel is alot more money for one treatment, but the ProFractional is cheaper but takes 3 - 5 times. What will the difference be?

Profractional and Fraxel, Are They the Same?

Hi Jill, They are both good technologies, but they are very different, their names just sound the same. Profractional treats more superficially and requires a series of treatments, while Fraxel repair is a much deeper, ablative laser the in the majority of patients requires only one treatment. Fraxel restore is a non-ablative laser that will require a series of treatments similar to Profractional. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
