Different state laws for Fraxel Laser practitioners
Each state has its own laws as to who may perform lasers. Different lasers have different classifcations. There are three types of Fraxel lasers and one is designed to be used in spas by non physicians. It may be legal for a non physician to treat you in your state, but some states are trying to pass legislation that require the supervising physician to be on premises during the treatment if it is an invasive or minimally invasive laser.
