I've had 8 porcelain veneers placed three weeks ago. The result is not what I expected at all (gap between my front teeth, left lateral incisor too long, asymmetrical gum-line) I complained to my dentist but he became aggressive and said it was perfect and the best it could be. He specifically told me that no other dentist would do a better job. I hate my new smile more now than before my smile makeover. Can you tell me if this is as good as it gets or if it can be adjusted/corrected? Thank you

Answer: Dissatisfied with veneers done in France...
Usually any swelling around the gum should be gone in one to two weeks after the work is completed. This is not normal. Make sure there is no bacterial build up due to improper brushing or cleaning of the teeth. It is best to return to the dentist and have the area reevaluated...
Yes, it is my professional opinion that porcelain veneers would improve the appearance of your teeth and smile. However, I believe that it would look much better if your had four porcelain veneers instead of just two. Also, your dentist could adjust and smooth your lower front teeth to make them...
If you would simply like for your veneers to have the shape or bite altered, then you should not require anesthesia. By contrast, to completely replace your veneers would require you to be numb as they will have to be taken off with a dental handpiece. Good luck.
