Massaging to Get Rid of Scar Tissue?

My 3 year old bumped her forehead on the window sill about 2 months ago. The skin was not broken, just bruised across her head in a thin 1 inch line. The bruise has since healed but there is now a half inch slightly red mark with underlying scar tissue. When she raises her eyebrows it looks indented. Will massaging the area help to get rid of that scar tissue?

Bruised not broken skin
If the skin was not broken it most likely will not scar. Apply lotion and sunscreen to the area daily and keep it out of direct sunlight for a while. Since she is only three the bruised area will fade away with time.
