Scar Keep Widening After Revisions

Forehead facial scar keeps WIDENING after 5 scar revisions?! HELP!! (botox injected every time) After revisions the scar looks great, a very thin line. But after one month and a half it begins to widen/stretch. The sutures used are the strongest but are dissolvable after 3-6 months. What sutures should be used (permanent?) Might I have a collagen disorder, what can help build it up?

Forehead scars and scar revision for bad scars

Tension free closures are ideal and can often minimize stretching of a scar. I would advise you to concentrate on post procedural therapy to improve the long term look of the scar.

Scar stretch after revisions

Unfortunately, scar revision is somewhat unpredictable and often winds up giving little or no improvement over time.  This often depends upon the area, movement, direction of the scar,  and age and health of the patient. Sometimes, excision is not the best choice, and laser scar resurfacing with something like the Total FX fractional CO2 laser may give better results.
