Inverted nipple. Do you mean nipple or areolar?

Hello there. Inverted nipple refers to just the nipple, the areolar is the pigmented skin surrounding the nipple and is not normally affected. Correction of inverted nipple involves addressing the nipple directly, although sometimes scars are made on the areolar. I hope this has answered your question.
