I'm 19 y/o and 110 lbs. I run 3-5 days a week and eat healthy. I feel super self conscious about my mons pubis because it kinda bulges out and I don't like the way I look wearing swimsuits and jeans and shorts. Is there any way that I could reduce this bulge of fat in my mons pubis area WITHOUT any type of surgery? Is there any specific exercise I could do to trim it down?
Answer: Mons Thanks for the question, some of us just have stubborn areas of fat. If you are very surgery averse you could try something non surgical like cool sculpting, I typically do liposuction in that area. I do it awake and just numb the area and the patient walks in and walks out

CONTACT NOW Answer: Exercise to reduce the mons pubis It is not possible to reduce the size of an isolated fatty area through exercise. Since you are not over weight, the only option for you is a procedure to reduce the number of fat cells in that area. This would include traditional liposuction or Cool Sculpting. Either method would involve very little recovery or down time.

Answer: Mons Pubis Fullness/Excess Fat.....? There are several options. But the first question is, is it just fat with tight skin or do you have drooping of your belly skin and fat that is bunching it up and making it look too big? If you pull up on your lower belly and your Mons looks ok, then it is excess skin and you would be best treated with Skin Tightening. If your skin is tight and not drooping then you would need fat reduction. The best options are Liposuction, Just a very minor procedure to do this OR, Sculpsure. Sculpsure is a non surgical, non-painful way of killing some of the fat cells on just about any area of the body. It works beautifully for a small area like that.

Answer: Is there an effective exercise to reduce mons pubis fat? Thank you for your question. A large mons is caused by a pad of fat that is located on the lowest part of the abdomen. Nonsurgical treatment includes weight loss using diet and exercise, but this doesn't always work. If the overlying skin is thick and elastic, then liposuction can be a good treatment option. If there is excess skin or thin skin with stretch marks then skin excision procedures are typically needed. A mons lift it is commonly combined with an abdominoplasty procedure, but can be done by itself. The price for these procedures varies between doctors and regions of the country. Consider several consultations to find the surgeon that's right for you.

Answer: Is there an effective exercise to reduce mons pubis fat? Fat can be localized in some unusual places and the mons is one of them. Wthout surgery to reove fat from the area, I am afraid that I know of no exercise that will accomplish this. Good luck. Dr PG

Answer: Liposuction in the Mons is easily done with local anesthesia. It's possible that with weight loss the Mons might get smaller but not necessarily. In about 15 minutes under local anesthesia you can have the excess removed never to return.
