Flat Moles on the Face?

Removal of flat moles on the face
Flat moles on the face can usually be removed using a "shave excision" method. The mole is actually "shaved off" at a very superficial level just below the surface of the skin. This method is quite effective and leaves a minimal scar. The procedure typically takes less than a minute, and is fairly painless. The tissue can then be sent for microscopic examination which is important to confirm its being a benign growth. I would advise against radiosurgery for removing facial moles as this often results in greater scarring and leaves no tissue for microscopic examination.
