How Do I Fix Rough Skin Left by Acne Scars?

I am 34 and years of acne has left my skin a little rough with large pores and a few of the typical "crater" scars about my face. What would be the most effective treatment for smoothing out my skin again to give it a healthy look. My rough skin is not as bad as some people might have so I dont know if I need something dramatic necessarily but it still bothers me. With that said is laser resurfacing still the only way to have real results? Thanks

Resurfacing for Acne Scars

I would suggest consulting with a surgeon experienced in both fractional laser resurfacing and chemical peels. Active/Deep FX (fractional CO2 laser resurfacing) would probably be a good option for you. A series of lighter chemical peels may provide some improvement.
