I am trying to find a good doctor here in New York and I went to two of the best doctors(New Yorker Magazine) and did not feel comfortable with them. One wanted me to make a deposit right on the spot and schedule surgery when I only had nose surgery 7 months ago and I am usually told to wait 1 year. The other charged me $250 and consulted me for 10 mins and provided me with nothing. No hope, no idea as to how much he will charge me, etc. Can anyone recommend a doctor here in NY?

If you request a revision rhinoplasty I tell patients to give it a year to soften and mature so that when the tissues are re-elevated, they are supple and the rhinoplasty can go smoothly. If you perform a revision too soon, the tissues are not easy to dissect and often stiff. New York Magazine although may list "best doctors," the method of selection of these "best" is questionable. Great care, great results, and great repoire is key.
