Why Do So Few Doctors Offer Collagen Induction Therapy/dermarolling for Acne Scars?

Dermarolling seems to be a strong option in reduction of acne scars, but there are few doctors that offer this treatment. Most offer laser treatments that have more negative reviews than positive, even when administered by top doctors (often no or deceptive results from swelling that disappear several months after treatment for thousands of dollars). Is it simply lack of financial incentive that makes this treatment less available? I am specifically looking for doctors in the DC area.

Collagen Induction Therapy

Dermarolling and skin needling have been around for years, but with very minimal results, if any. I have found the procedure to be extremely tedious, with little to no results. There are home care units and in-office products to do these treatments, as well as permanent cosmetic injectors, but I have never once seen a good treatment or great result. Collagen Induction Therapy

Alexander Despite your enthusiasm, the evidence for this treatment is very unimpressive. There are very few published papers on the subject and the few that are available show very weak results. Often there are substantial differences in the before and after lighting that raise reasonable questions regarding the effectiveness of this service.
