Is it normal to have a fever after lpo?

I had a light lipo on outer thighs and flank 10 days ago, only about 500cc. I was on antibotics and pain medication until yesterday and today I start feeling very tired and feverish. Is this normal? Some part of my body also have flaking skin. Does it have anything to do with the surgery?

After liposuction there is an inflammatory reaction that can cause a local increase in temperature but no fever, the appearance of fever is not normal following surgery, in your case the most important thing is to take your temperature with a thermometer to check if you really have fever, in that order, the fever may be associated with the surgery or may be caused by any of many conditions unrelated to the surgery, I advise you to visit your surgeon for an evaluation and follow his instructions.

You may be coming down with something unrelated to your surgery.  Discuss this with your surgeon, and follow his post operative instructions for a fast recovery.

These are questions for your surgeon. He/she will appreciate an exact temperature; not "feverish". Use a thermometer. Flaking skin not over the treated areas is not related to the liposuction. You may be coming down with something unrelated to your surgery.
