I'm 11 days post-op , I didn't have any breathing problems before my rhinoplasty.Yesterday,when my cast is removed I started to feel and touched something very hard inside my left nostril and it's attached to columella's bone but at the same time it moves a little , I think it's a bone ..i'm so nervous that i will have to get another surgery to remove it.I can't meet my surgeon before monday,so can anyone help me and give me reasons for this hard thing stuck in my nostrils ? A closed Rhinoplasty can shorten a long nose when the vertical length of the entire nose is too long or the tip is droopy. If the tip is already in an excellent position relative to the upper lip, is pretty difficult to shorten the nose without over rotation of the tip. Chin implants are also ...

thank you for your question. Unfortunately it is difficult to give you and specific comments without photos. 1 week is a very short time to make any decisions regarding your rhinoplasty. In general, however, a columella does not 'drop'.

Thank you for your question. Sun should be avoided on any operative site, especially one that involves 'lifting' of tissue off of deeper structures. When this is done, the blood supply to that tissue is temporarily decreased. It is more suseptable to burn...
