I had a liposuction and a tummy tuck done on the same procedure a month and a half ago. Everything was going well, until a week ago where my stomach started to swell, and I feel a deep burning sensation. Specially when I sit down , I feel fine, but then when I try to stand up I feel a burning sensation inside of my body on the areas treated. Is this normal? I have no fever, and my scar looks very good, it is not red or raised, and even know it looks practically invisible.

Burning sensation after tummy tuck and liposuction.
Burning sensations are often related to the nerves and may be either an indication of a problem or part of the normal healing response. The difference is in the progress - nerve injury tends to persist or worsen while nerve issues related to healing improve over time. Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is advised.
Burning after a Tummy Tuck and Liposuction
The burning sensation that you are feeling is more than likely from your nerves regenerating from surgery. It takes several months for the nerves to grow back. Continue follow up with your plastic surgeon for examinations and recommendations.
