What Does It Feel Like to Tear Sutures (Breast Lift, No Implants)?

I'm 8 days post-op and feeling pretty good. Everything seems to be healing well and I'm just feeling a little sore from time to time. I just started driving today and am paranoid about busting internal sutures. I had an internal breast lift. What, if any, pain would be present for someone who ruptures internal breast lift sutures?

Disruption of Breast Lift Sutures?

Congratulations on smooth recovery after breast lifting surgery. There is no specific “sensation” that can be universally attributed to suture disruption after breast surgery. Sometimes there may be pain associated with this complication, sometimes not. I would suggest that you return to your activities of daily living slowly/judiciously and continue to follow-up with your plastic surgeon who is in the best position to evaluate/rule out complications... more
