If you can obtain enough fat from other areas of the body, that fat can be safely transferred. However, as with all contouring procedures, it is important that you maintain your weight after the procedure.

Volume of fat is what is important
Brazillian Butt Lift requires a tremendous amount of fat. So, the real issue is obtaining enough volume of fat for the procedure. It is best to harvest fat from your abdominal wall and your thighs. Good luck.

Types of fat for Brazillian Butt Lift
As long as you can obtain enough fat it generally doesn't matter where it comes from as long as you maintain a stable weight.
Certain types of fat may be more sensitive to weight gain or loss and subsequent changes in weight can effect the transferred fat in the same way it would have effected the donor site.
