Fat injections may not be possible if there is not enough fat to harvest

There have been patients that don't have enough fat to harvest for their fat injections and rather then sending them out to supersize fast food meals, volumizers such as Sculptra and Radiesse can be used along with hyaluronic acids such as Perlane and Juvederm Ultra Plus.

Hi Ihaveaquestion, There is fat to be found in the lateral thigh area in most female patients. If your surgeon does not feel fat transfer is a good idea for you then I would recommend Sculptra injections for overall facial volume replenishment. No body fat, volume rejuvenation still possible

I think you just answered your own question. It is not possible to have fat transfers if you have no fat. But do not despair. Volume rejuvenation is still possible with a nice array of injectable products available. Immediate results are seen, and there is evidence that long term effects can be achieved with staged treatments. The key is careful placement of the filler product without overcorrecting.
