I had too much taken out on one side of my outer thigh(not enough in one spot on the other) but more to the back of my thigh. The shin looks healthy,I do not think it was so deep as to cause capillary damage but enough to consider fat transfer back into the area. I am 46 5'9' and weigh usually between 127-132,I have had a very healthy lifestyle for most of my life, mostly raw foods and am quite athletic. Would a micro liposuction combined with a fat graft(properly) grafted help my situation?

Micro-fat grafting works for post-liposuction irregularities

Based on your description, it sounds like you would do well with micro-fat grafting aka LipoStructure to the area of deficiency. In thin patients like yourself, there is little room for error in a liposuction procedure and minor irregularities are fairly common. Here are the salient points: You need to have enough fat left elsewhere to provide 'donor' fat for the transfer Finding a plastic surgeon experienced in this technique is essential - results are VERY... more

Fat grafting for correction of liposuction deformity

Without reviewing your pictures, it is difficult to provide you with accurate assessment and recommendation; however, autologous fat grafting is a mainstay of correction of such defects. In my practice, I also utilize fat redistribution after VASER emulsification of the defect area. This allows for the fat in the area of the defect to be redistributed to correct the defect without harvesting and transplantation which reduces survival especially in a previously treated area with significant... more

Contour irregularities after Liposuction can often be improved

Hi there- In most cases, minor contour irregularities after liposuction (regardless of the machine used) can be improved, but without examining you it is impossible to make a responsible recommendation. Discuss this with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Small Irregularities after Vaser Liposuction

I strongly agree with the revision you suggest, that is micro-liposuction and fat grafting to smooth the irregular contour. This is the technique I have used for many years when seeing patients who have had this complication after liposuction, regardless of how the liposuction had been done. Satisfactory results were achieved.

Maybe but you failed to post photos so very hard to advise. Seek in person opinions from boarded PSs in your area.

Fat transfer and liposuction

Without an exam or at least seeing photos it is impossible to offer any suggestions for your problem. If the area was over treated then perhaps fat grafting may be helpful. If under treated then further lipo.

Excess fat removed from thigh - needs treatment

It sounds like you need to obtain one or more opinions from board certified plastic surgeons who are comfortable with fat grafting. Apparently you have had too much fat removed from an area (no photos to assess though). The best way to treat this if this is the case would be for fat injections.
