Facial Surgery Scar For Dog Bite. What Do You Recommend? (photo)

I had a surgery on my face when a dog attacked me and tore apart the flesh of my right cheek when i was 5 that means twelve years ago. That surgery left a scar a big on my face of which i am attaching a photo.kindly tell me what is the best treatment for this scar? whether i should use any gel or cream? or should i go under some specific surgery or laser treatment? what would be the best option to make it as least visible as possible. kindly suggest asap !!

Dog bite scars can be improved

Scar revision including scare excision, z plasty, and fractional co2 laser resurfacing to improve the scar. Topical creams include Melaquin AM and Melaquin PM.

Dog Bite to Face

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately the best way to improve this scar is to undergo a scar revision followed by treatment with special topical creams to minimize scarring. Please consult with a board certified specialist who can better assist you in achieving the results you seek. see video

thank you for replying dr. kimberly ! Now i am looking for a good surgeon who can get me good results. But sometime ago i went to a surgeon , he said he d be willing to do the scar revision but he said there will be many chances that the scar may become the same as it was before the surgery or even worse due to stretching of skin.he suggested hair transplant on the scar area instead. What should i do?
