Facial and Scalp Itching from Endotine?

Is there any plastic surgeons out there that had complaints of severe face and scalp itching from clients that had Endotine Fixation? I know there has to be.

Endotine Fixation

I have never seen itching secondary to the endotine device. Anything is possible, but this is extremely unlikely. Transient numbness usually occurs after these procedures. As this resolves and sensation returns, there may be some annoying feelings such as itching. This will resolve with time; it is not an allergic reaction.

Endotine may be causing nerve irritation

If your procedure was a brow lift, (not clear from your question), the cause of the burning and itching is most likely irritation of the supra orbital nerve. This nerve traverses the forehead from the brow to the scalp and supplies sensation to the scalp. Often sensory nerve injuries can cause a burning sensation as the nerve recovers. Ask your... more
