Facial fillers are injected in the subdermal, subcutaneous, or subperiosteal plane. Technique is crucial to obtaining symmetry, balance, and facial proportions. In practice, combining facial fillers with other treatments can be performed. We would advise one of two approaches:

  • Separate the treatments, if possible, over at least 24 hours.
  • Begin with the more important and risky procedure first. In this case, the facial fillers demand greater precision and should be performed in the absence of edema. Thus, the facial fillers should be performed first.
