What Can I Do if Chemical Peels and IPL Haven't Been Able to Treat Hyperpigmentation?

2 years ago, I went thru several assisted pregnancy treatments and my facial skin became very dark that it was noticeable on my skin. Post baby, I seeked derm help and so far, I've used 4% hydroquinone cream (with no change), 3 chemical peels (no change) and 4 treatments of IPL. The first 2 IPLs did nothing, the 3rd and 4th showed a little bit of improvement. I'm 40yr old, Asian female. My current derm still recommends more treatments. Please advise. Thanks!
