Will Face Lift before Invisalign have an effect on the impressions?

I am planning on having a Face Lift and I am also doing Invisaligns. I am scheduled to get my impressions before I have the lift. Will the surgery change anything as far as the impressions are concerned? Should I wait until after the surgery to have the impressions done? Thank you.

Invisalign is an orthodontic device to straighten the teeth.  Invisalign before surgery should not affect your facelift, but may slightly affect your appearance, especially if you have prominence of the upper teeth and they create an impression on your lip.  This may in fact guide your surgeon to... more

A: A face lift should not any negative effects on Invisalign or vise versa

Invisalign solely effects the dental complex, and should therefore have no bearing on a face lift. Impressions for Invisalign can be done before or after the surgery.

A: Facelift should not interfere with Invisalign

I would not think there should be any reason your pre-facelift impressions wouldn't work perfectly well for Invisalign after surgery.  A well done facelift shouldn't really change your mouth to any significant degree.

The face lift has no effect on invisalign , ortho treatment  or the tooth alignmet. But when you are done with the ortho treatment all your  face muscles, tongue and the forces from the teeth pressuer should be in a balanced position to maintain the teeth straight and aligned.

Face Lifts primarily affect the soft tissues of the face and head and neck but do not usually affect the bony or dental structures. You should not be concerned about having a Face Lift performed either before or after Invisalign treatement or treatment planning.

The facelift will have no bearing on Invisalign impressions. Invisalign can be done either before or after the facelift surgery; having no effect on the teeth

A: Invisaligns and facelift

A facelift does not affect anything in your mouth unless a "gum" incision is used for a deep facelift. This as well should not impact your teeth in any way.

I am 24 yrs old, looking for good braces to correct my buck teeth. Basically all my teeth are OK, except the two buck teeth in front. I went to see an orthodontist for X-ray, he advised to get 4 bicuspid teeth extracted (if Damon braces is the case). OMG! All these 4 teeth are still nice & healthy. I am wondering is there an alternative to correct my buck teeth without extraction? Please advise.. Thanks!
