Eyelid changes after blepharoplasty
The physical growth of the eyelids, as well as the rest of the body, mostly arrests after the late teens. However, eyelid skin redundancy does not manifest until 20 years later or so. The reason for this is that the eyelid redundancy does not occur because of the further eyelid growth, but primarily because of the loss of skin elasticity, loss of connective tissue support, and bony resorption of the orbital (eye socket) area. Of course these changes do not stop with eyelid surgery but...

Eyelid Surgery
With UV exposure, skin, all over our body will lengthen, wrinkle, collagen and elastin will become damaged, over time. This is part of aging/maturing. The better you protect your skin now, the slower this change occurs. Couple this with your ethnicity (darker skin is better protected naturally with the melanin, thus less wrinkles) and you can predict your transition rate.

Eyelids do Continue to Age After Surgery
There is probably no significant further growth, but the effects of aging manifest in the eyelids due to decreased elasticity, thinning of skin, changes in fat volume, and even some bone changes.

Eyelid surgery results
The result of a blepharoplasty will last approximately 10 years or more. It is possible that in time the skin will lose its elasticity and the patient could develop some excess skin in the area and may require a second blepharoplasty. The excess skin could also be a sign of droopiness of the brow; in this case, perhaps a brow lift would be a better alternative than a second blepharoplasty. These issues should be discussed with the plastic surgeon before attempting a second blepharoplasty.

Old wives tale that eyes continue to grow with age
No, trhat's an urban myth that your eyes continue to grow as you age. What happens is the skin attachments that create the upper eyelid crease become weaker causing the upper eyelids to sag (true ptosis) making the upper eyelids look much longer.

I Had Eyelid Surgery Will They Continue to Grow as I Age?
The forehead may continue to droop and this will definitly cause the upper eyelid skin to show laxity over time.

Do eyelids grow after blepheroplasty
No Once your physical growt has ended, no more growth occurs. However, as you age more laxity will occur on both upper and lower lids Removed fat will not grow back. Be careful with secondary lower lid surgery because you will lose lower lid strength with age.

No, not really.
Once you have stopped growing, your eyelids do not continue to grow. Now, unfortunately they do age as you age. The bulk of the eyelid issues we see and treat are related to wear and tear. Blink a few million times and these changes begin to add up. This is the reason why eyelid surgery is always one of the top cosmetic procedures.
