Eyelids Batting Differently During Eating, Options?
My sister has this eyelid probelm since birth. Her left eyelid is lower than the right one in normal condition. However during eating the left eyelid opens wide open and higher than the right one. This is very embarrassing when in social functions. Can this be cured.

Eyelids Batting Differently During Eating, Options?
It sounds like she has a condition known as Marcus Gunn Jaw Winking Syndrome. You can search it and read about it. Basically, in that condition, the nerves to the eyelids are "wired" incorrectly so that the eyelid muscles are triggered when she moves her mouth. She should see an Oculoplastic surgeon for treatment options which will depend on her examination. Good luck.
