EXPENCES,EXPENCES,EXPENCES....And the list goes on ....so i was charged 16,525 for mommy make over and sadly i can't afford the whole surgery cost . and i didn't really want two surgeries but sadly I'm faced with breaking this down i get a credit loan and not even a cosigner will cutting the surgeries cost less?
Answer: I can't afford the entire Mommy Makeover at once, will splitting the surgeries cost less? Thanks for your question. I understand your concerns. However, should the procedure be broken up, it will cost more. In fact you will be submitting yourself to anesthesia given on two different occasions, two recoveries and exposure to potential complications twice.I would strongly suggest that you have both done at the same time. If the costs are too much in your local area then search for other major areas where cosmetic surgery is performed with frequency. Costs will vary from region to region depending on which state of live in. The costs will also depend on whether you need a straight breast augmentation, breast reduction or breast lift with implants. The work involved and the time involved in performing the mores complicated procedures increases the price. The price is dependent on that which I mentioned above and could run from $10,000 to $15,000 in the South Florida area.I am certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and have practiced in Miami, the Land of Mommy Makeovers" for the past 29 years. I encourage you to look up the surgeon you eventually select and make sure they have years of experience in performing cosmetic tummys and lipo. Furthermore request to see before and after photos of previous patients by that doctor....not a clinic or surgery center. Do your homework......research and verify the doctor's credentials. Have they had problems with the Board of Medicine, disciplinary or otherwise. Any law suits? How about the center, clinic or facility? Are they accredited by a national organization or do they just have State approval. Understand that at the current time, there are three nationally recognized organizations responsible for the highest levels of patient safety, AAAASF, AAACH and JCHO. You owe it to yourself to position yourself for the best possible results but under the most stringent safety regulations, If you have kids, even more so.How about anesthesia? Will you have a medical doctor certified by the American Board of Anesthsiology or a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA)? Understand that there is no substitute for research. Cosmetic surgery, no matter how simple it may be to the patients, are invasive procedures and as such carry certain risks and complications.I wish you the best on your journey. I hope that the info provided has been helpful. Should you require any further clarification, do not hesitate to contact our institute. We are one of only a few in South Florida that employ a web based program called TouchMD. Through this program potential patients of our institute can upload their photos. I then review each and everyone, draw my recommendations on your actual picture. This info is made available to you with the use of a private password that only you will have. TouchMD is private and follows all applicable privacy laws (HIPPA). I answer all questions personally, not through patient coordinators or other marketing individuals. Good Luck

Answer: Combined vs staged surgical procedures Combined surgical procedures typically cost less that when the surgical procedures are staged, not the other way around. Every surgeon will have their own particular cost structure, but I do not think that you should expect to overall pay less if you end up splitting the surgeries. Your best option is to continue saving your money and then proceed with the surgeries when you are in a financially stable position to afford them. The decision to combine or stage the procedures should be one that is made based mostly on risks, recovery, and potential outcomes and less on the cost of the surgeries.

Answer: Staging mommy makeover operations generally costs a little bit more. Staging procedures requires the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, in the operating facility to prepare the patient for each individual procedure. Generally this costs a bit more

Answer: I can't afford the entire Mommy Makeover at once, will splitting the surgeries cost less? When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites (including attached link) as well. Generally speaking, combining surgical procedures ( assuming safe to do so), tends to save patients financially. In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Again, I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. Best wishes.
