The media and many unscrupulous ads have unfortunately given rise to the myth of the limitless magical powers of Cosmetic Surgery. In fact, an ethical Plastic surgeon would readily confess that we ARE quite limited in what we can do. Nowhere does the adage "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" apply more than in Plastic Surgery. What we can do depends on what YOU bring to the OR table.
