Erbium Laser Resurfacing and Salicylic And/or Glycolic Acid?

I recently had Erbium skin resurfacing done (11 days ago). I have used Proactiv for years to manage my acne. At the office where I had the treatment done the estheticians and cosmologists informed me that I can go back to using ProActiv (which has salicylic and I believe glycolic acid in it) after 10 days.

However, I was reading another website which suggested I wait six weeks before using any products with those acids in them. How long do I have to wait before going back to ProActiv? I'm having very bad breakouts simply from not using it for the last two weeks.
