Is Using Epiduo More Frequently Better Than Glytone Peel?

I need a second opinion.
I wash my face 2x using Glytone mild face gel. At night, I use epiduo cream. I'm unable to continue 20% Glycolic professional peels at my doc office .
She suggested Glyotne in house peel gel once a month but I should stop using epiduo for 5 days before using peel & resume epiduo after 2 days.
BUT kit says use 2-3x a week. Will using epiduo 3 weeks a month & then peel be better or just using peel 2-3x a week or epiduo for 3 weeks and use 20% peel at home?
