Enlarged Pores and Texture Change from Fraxel Restore - Permanent/Damage?

Almost 3 months after 4 Fraxel Restores (40-70, Level 6), my pores are enlarged and my texture has an odd pattern like a quilt/cobblestone. I went to a board certified derm who said this will resolve "in time". She said it should take 4-6 months to resolve. I am hoping this isn't an "ill effect of the laser" like Dr. Shelton answered in another question. Should I seek another Fraxel provider's opinion? I am VERY WORRIED this is permanent! Any answers will be greatly appreciated!
