Nose Surgery: Q&A

Ask a Question

Would Enlarged IT or Moderate Nasal Valve Collapse Be More Likely to Cause Infections?

Just wondering if an enlarged inferior turbinate , or a moderate nasal valve collapse would be more likely to cause repeated infections??I was told it would be turbinate causing repeated infections, but was told today that nasal collapse could do same. Had coblation of enlarged turb and it fixed infection problem, but wondering if that was rt thing to do? Wondering if collapse issue should have been targeted first , then turb???
