Elos Epilation in Bikini Zone and Uterine Fibroids: Any Contraindications?

Dear Doctors, I live in Moscow and want to undergo Elos-epilation in bikini zone. But I have several intramural uterine fibroids up to 4 cm. in size and have already undergone UFE in April. My gyn thinks Elos-epilation is safe for me, but my cosmetologist says it is not! Could you give me any recommendations: whether to do it or not (as you are more experienced in epilation than our cosmetologists)? Maybe I should wait for some more time after UFE? It is OK

Hello! Elos or any other kind of laser hair removal is safe with uterine fibroids, as the laser light does not penetrate even remotely close to the uterus. There should be no effect at all on your fibroids. Good luck, it is wonderful to be hair-free.
