Will Efudix Work on Hyperpigmentation?

will EFUDIX work on abnormal skin cells such as hyper pigmentation and return the skin back to original color?

Efudex and pigment

Efudex, or 5-fluorouracil is a cream that targets precancerous actinic keratoses, which normally are slightly red and rough and small in diameter. Very few of these are pigmented. Those that are will respond, but the bulk of brown skin lesions and true hyperpigmentation will not respond the the cream.
