I'm just starting down the bariatric road and have heard that dumping syndrome is horrible. Just wondering if it affects everyone who has bariatric surgery?

Dumping Syndrome and Gastric Bypass
Unfortunately only about 50% of patients experience dumping syndrome after gastric bypass surgery. There is no way to predict who will having dumping syndrome and how long it will last and how much sweets is needed to trigger the dumping syndrome. It is very variable.
