Is Dry Skin Prone to Wrinkling?

Last week I made the mistake of combing tazorac and the anti-wrinkle deep wrinkle night moisturizer night with Retinol SA by Neutrogena around my eyes to help with fine lines and wrinkles. At first I thought my skin was looking better but then last night I noticed a line around my eye I hadn't noticed before and this morning I noticed more wrinkles under my eye. My skin around my eyes feel tight and dry. Please help. I'm very worried.

Irritated, dry skin can look wrinkled

This is definitely true and especially around the eyes. As a result of the inflammation, more fluid go to the area and microscopically, the skin can thicken a little producing the appearance of wrinkled skin when normally it would not be. First, stop the topicals and let it calm down. if it still does not resolve, consider seeing a dermatologist for this irritance contact dermatitis
