Are drugstore skin care products as effective as more expensive skin care lines?

I love drugstore finds! Brands like Cetaphil, Eucerin and Olay are classic, gentle on my face, and are non-comedogenic, so they are great for almost any skin type. In addition, I typically buy my shampoo, sunscreen, nail products, shower gels, and body creams at the drugstore.

Don't be afraid of the drugstore brands. Today's cosmetic companies have gotten so competitive for your business that you can find the latest and greatest skin care ingredients right on the shelves at your local pharmacy.

Formulas that used to take years to filter to less costly products are now debuting along with the higher cost brands. I find that a mixture of drugstore products and a couple of department store/spa brands work great in tandem.
