Does Dr. Have to Reduce Prescription for Touch Up Lasik Treatment?
every laser, prescription, environment, doctor has a different number that is inputed even for first time surgery to get the 100% result that we want achieved. For cornea that has never had surgery, the number that i input into the laser is between 90-110% of the actual prescription.

Touch-up LASIK Surgery and Input Values for the Laser
Since every cornea reacts differently to the laser treatment, there is no set value for a 2nd LASIK surgery. We re-examine the initial values and the treatment provided during the first surgery and use that experience to calibrate the laser for the touch-up treatment.

Nomograms for enhancements
Nomograms for enhancements are quite complicated. Simply put if you got undercorrected it might mean your surgeon should actually be more aggressive in the shoot the second time. In contrast if you were overcorrected and made Hyperopic perhaps he should back off on his shoot for your enhancement
