I own a company specializing in photography and graphic design. I would love to work out a trade deal to assist a doctor with their marketing in return for cosmetic surgery. But, is this something they ever do? More importantly, is it rude to ask?

Exchange of Services?

Thank you for the question. I would suggest you select your plastic surgeon based on your assessment that he/she can achieve the results that you are looking for. This can only be done after due diligence on your part. Once you have made this selection, it cannot hurt to ask about an exchange of services ( I personally would not consider it “rude"). Best wishes.

Find the right plastic surgeon and then don't be embarrassed to ask

Hello, It would not be rude to ask if the plastic surgeon is willing to trade services. I would, however, base your decision on having your surgery based on their qualifications, their rapport with you, and their results and not on whether they are willing to trade for service. All the best, Dr Repta
