I am considering a 7.5 cm neck lipoma removal, but an MRI indicates that it is in the muscle, and I worry about long term pain or damage. It seems that such removal would require a doctor that is very careful. How can I find out about the skill of a doctor in doing such a procedure? I am very leery after having knee surgery years ago that has left me with life long pain, and I had no pain prior to surgery. How Does One Know if a Doctor/surgeon is Meticulous and Careful?
