Do Laser Burns Stay Forever? How Can I Treat Them?

Burns from laser hair removal
Brown scars from laser burns can be either hypertrophic scars (raised above the skin surface) or PIH Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (brown flat spots). If you have raised brown scars, you need steroid injections to flatten them. If you have flat brown spots, they will get better on their own. To expedite the recovery you should follow strict protection from sun, no further laser treatments till this resolves and use a prescription bleaching cream Triluma. If they do not get better then you could try IPL (Intense Pulse Light) treatments.
