I just had a nose job last month & 2weeks after my operation i started getting dizziness along with nausea. the nausea is cured now as i visited a physician & took medicine. but the dizziness is still there. it mostly happens when im lying down & shifting positions during sleep.

Dizziness after Rhinoplasty
I assume you have discussed this with your surgeon. Ask for a referral to an otolaryngologist (ENT), who does otology (treatment of ear diseases) for evaluation and treatment. This complication is very rare, but usually temporary.

Your diziness after nose job surgery could be Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
BPPV is a self-limited condition that causes room-spinning diziness, lasting less than a minute, when you roll from one side to the other in bed. This condition is thought to be caused by a dislodged calcium-crystal in your inner ear. It can be associated with head trauma, so this may have been precipitated by osteotomies performed during your Rhinoplasty.
The treatment of BPPV involves rehabilitative exercises of your neck, not medication. This condition almost always gets better....

Dizziness after nose job
This is a complication of the relationship between the nose, ear, eustachian tubes. Discuss with your doctor ASAP. Or seek an ENT consult.
