My doctor told me in the follow up exam that the reason why I could not have any more than the cc's he gave me - which was 325 cc's in one breast and 350 cc's in the other - was that the distance between my breast crease and the nipple was too short and if I could probably not go any bigger. However at the consult he told me I could go as big as I wanted but I might not get the look I wanted. I do not remember him telling me this breast crease/nipple issue during the first consult.

If not the implant will ride high in the breast pushed up by the fold or worse, the implant will push below... more

You want to select an implant with proper dimensions so that the nipple is appropriately centered on the augmented breast. If the implant is too broad because you want a larger size, you may find that it extends too high on your chest wall with the nipple situated too low on the breast mound. One way to... more

Distance Between Your Breast Crease and Your Nipple effects Breast Appearance?

Teh distance between your nipple and breast do not effect the breast size as much as they effect your breast appearance. An excessively long distance (more than 10 cm may gie your implanted breast a more sagging (ptotic) or "bottomed out appearance" with hihg riding nipples.
