Should I Discontinue Benzaclin, Aczone and Retin-A Before Getting Fraxel Restore?

I am on these medications but I am worried if I discontinue them, I'll break out right before the procedure. I have read that you should have your acne under control before getting Fraxel, but the only way I can keep it under control is by using the medicine routinely.

Retin-A and Fraxel

I would recommend stop using the Retin-A at least a few days before your procedure. Ideally, we like patients to stop using Retin-A's a week prior. Dr. Grant Stevens Marina Plastic Surgery Associates Marina del Rey, CA The Institute

Fraxel laser

This ia great question for the doctor who will be doing your procedure. as their use before the laser treatment can affect the final outcome. and that also depends on the laser parameters.
